This month, the Friends book club is reading The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams. In this debut novel based on actual events, as a team of male scholars compiles the first Oxford English Dictionary, one of their daughters decides to collect the “objectionable” words they omit.

New York Times and USA Today Best-selling Arizona author Jenn McKinlay will discuss her mystery and romance series. Books will be available for purchase.

Bingo Blast with Best-Selling Authors

This virtual event via Zoom will feature New York Times best-selling authors discussing their new and recent books. While they are speaking, our Friends and their friends will be playing bingo on their phones or other electronic devices.

All players will receive a unique, individual bingo card and instructions for how to play. The first several players to cover five squares in a row (accuracy counts) will receive a free copy of one of the featured authors’ books.

Scottsdale Leadership ExhibitMilestones & Memories: Scottsdale Leadership 35th Anniversary
Through December 31, 2021
This exhibit is located at the Scottsdale Heritage Connection, next to the Knowasis Teen Center at Civic Center Library. It profiles the history and contributions of Scottsdale Leadership.
