We are excited to partner with the Scottsdale Barnes & Noble for some fun events in November and December. The Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library will be at the store on certain dates to help you wrap your holiday gifts. Plus, during the store’s book fair, some of your purchases will help us fund programs and facility improvements at Scottsdale’s libraries.
Here’s a rundown of the events:
Gift Wrapping
The Friends will be offering gift wrapping services on Monday, December 9 from 2pm to 9pm. We’d love to see you there!
Book Fair
The book fair will start on November 30 and run through December 8. All you have to do is stop by one of our library locations to pick up a flyer.
Present the flyer to the cashier when you make your purchase and a percentage of your purchase will go to the Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library.
We’d also like to invite you to some special events taking place as part of the book fair. Mark your calendars!
On Saturday, November 30 at 11am, the Scottsdale Barnes & Noble will host author Larry Phifer. He will treat store guests to a reading of his children’s book World on a String.
Thursday, December 5 at 6:30pm, world-renowned healing and Qigong Master Zhi Gang Sha will discuss his new book, Soul Healing Miracles: Ancient and New Sacred Wisdom Knowledge and Practical Techniques.
On December 7, the final day of the book fair, musician Marco Falco will be performing from 1pm – 4pm.
The Scottsdale Barnes & Noble is located in the Scottsdale Fiesta Shopping Center (10500 North 90 Street) in Scottsdale – near the corner of Pima Rd. and Shea Blvd.
