April 22 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Free
Friends members can enjoy a reception for the latest art installation at Civic Center Library entitled INTERWOVEN: Telaraña Fiber Arts Guild.
This exhibit is a celebration of Arizona’s beauty inspired by plants, canyons, lakes and skies. Techniques for the fiber art include weaving, spinning, basketry, knitting, crochet, lacemaking, felting, dyeing, and more.
Telaraña means “spider web” in Spanish and symbolizes the connections felt with others who love the fiber arts.
In addition to these events, Scottsdale Public Library hosts free events on most days. Please visit https://scottsdale.libnet.info/events to see what is going on at your local library branch.
